Used materials
To prevent air leakage through the top fabric of the mattress, an impermeable membrane is laminated to the polyester fabric. Laminating a continuous membrane instead of applying a coating eliminates the possibility of applying an uneven layer of coating, which could lead to the weakening of some parts and subsequent air leakage.
The brushed polyester gives a nice soft feel and prevents bunching.

When camping, you are not always lucky to find a flat surface that does not slope, and we know that unpleasant feeling when you slowly slide on a smooth mat until you finally wake up on the cold ground.
That is why we have Sherpa and Nomad used brushed polyester, which not only gives a pleasant suede feel, but above all increases the friction between the sleeping bag and the mat.
Thanks to the vertical perforation, we have also achieved that even the "triple" mat has a very pleasant packability and weight while maintaining maximum comfort

Pěna
Jádrem každé samonafukovací matrace je vnitřní pěna. Karimatky Pinguin jsou vyplněny pěnou z Polyuretanu, jejíž otevřené póry zadržují vzduch a tím jí dodávají výborné izolační vlastnosti. Pěna má velmi dobrou tvarovou paměť, což přispívá k jejímu rychlému nafouknutí a ani po létech častého používání nedochází k jejímu slehnutí.
