Main advantages
Detailed Description
Echo 1 DAC
An ultralight one-person tent with one side entrance and a vestibule.
The flysheet is made of Nylon with RipStop treatment and triple, double-sided siliconization, guaranteeing a water column of 4,000 mm. The flysheet seams are sealed with silicone paste.
The groundsheet is made of Nylon with a Polyurethane coating and a water column of 10,000 mm.
The poles are made up of duralumin segments (DAC Featherlite NSL 7001 T6) with a diameter of 8.5 mm and 7 mm.
Thanks to its small size, this tent is very popular with bikers, cyclists and minimalists.

Ventilation
The vent is at the top of the side walls and at the feet. Vent covers are designed so they are not affected by the wind. This prevents leaks during rain with strong winds.
Concept
The tent is based on the principle of a pole structure threaded through sleeves on the outside of the flysheet. The flysheet and inner tent (which is suspended under the flysheet) are erected at the same time after threading the poles through the sleeves. The main advantage of this concept is that the inner tent can be detached from the flysheet and the flysheet can be erected separately to create a single-skin tent without a groundsheet.
Other advantages are: quick to erect, the inner tent does not get wet when pitched in the rain
Pitching the tent
Erect the flysheet by pushing the pole through the sleeve. Insert the ends of the pole into the brass eyelets on the straps on the lower edge and raise the short segments at the feet. The tent is not free-standing and must be anchored with the minimum number of pegs (4). When pitching the tent for the first time, the inner tent is attached to the loops on the inside of the flysheet. Finally, tighten the flysheet with the plastic buckles at the bottom edge of the tent, or pull it taut it with the guy ropes.
